Overview

Developed an automated tortilla thickness control system for high-speed food processing lines, enabling real-time adjustment of product thickness during production. The system utilized dual displacement sensors to measure both roller position and product surface, with closed-loop servo control dynamically adjusting the rear roller. The design was engineered as a modular retrofit solution for existing equipment, with key considerations including washdown compatibility and mitigation of debris interference with sensor performance.
