Overview

Designed and developed a reciprocating pump system for liquefied CO₂ applications, enabling reliable transfer and pressurization of cryogenic fluid.

The design focused on durability, sealing performance, and manufacturability under cyclic loading and low-temperature operating conditions.

Role

  • Designed and modeled pump components in a collaborative engineering environment

  • Performed simulation and analysis to validate component performance under operating conditions

  • Developed and tested cast crankshaft housings to ensure structural integrity and manufacturability

  • Collaborated with supply teams to specify and integrate appropriate packing seal solutions

  • Created detailed assembly drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
